







General Rules for all Contestants
- All riders will have entry fees paid 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
- All riders will be in dress code 30 minutes prior to the start of the event,
- Dress code will be enforced to the strictest degree, Long sleeved collared shirt
sleeves rolled down, riding arm may be rolled up to the elbow. Cowboy hat or
helmet during the ride, Cowboy boots, Jeans ( if you are to ashamed to dress
like a cowboy you do not need to ride here)
- No changing behind the bucking chutes.
- No alcohol , drugs, tobacco or negative stickers or signs will be allowed on
gloves, vests, helmets ect. You be asked to remove them or cover them up
with tape.
- Only rider and contractor will be allowed in bucking chute during the pee wee bull
riding and older events.
- Each rider is allowed one puller on back of the bucking chutes.
- Riders and one puller is the only ones allowed behind the bucking chutes.
- Riders who have a bull in the bucking chutes are the only ones allowed on the
back of the bucking chutes with one helper with the rider.
5. No profanity will be allowed in any area of the arena, inside or outside the arena.
Please respect the smaller children.
- No un-sportsmanship like conduct will be allowed at any time.
- No fighting will be allowed.
- Any rider under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be escorted out with no
refund of entry fee.
6. All judges decisions will be final.
- Any arguing with the judges from either rider or parents will result in a no-
score.
7. No pulling the bull ropes tight or soaking the bulls in the alley will be allowed, if
caught trying to do this the rider will receive a no-score.
8. Chute Boss will be in charge behind bucking chutes.
9. If a rider is not ready when the bull is in the chute, the rider will get one call to
promptly be ready, otherwise his bull will be turned out.
10. No locked rowels will be allowed, rowels must beable to turn a quarter turn or more.
11. The CYBR reserves the right to remove anyone from the event.
- This will be enforced due to any un-ruley actions, Under the influence of drugs
or alcohol, Arguing with the judges.
Re-Rides
- If flank comes off bull during the 8 second ride.
- If the bull falls on side with all four feet pointing one direction.
- If bull stops to a stand still for one second during the ride.
- If the rider himself is fouled on the gate ( do not declare ) the judges will offer the
rider a re-ride.
- Failure to get out on a chute fighting bull after 2 honest attempts.
- If in the judges opinion the bull does not perform to the standard required.
Fines and Office Charges
- Turn out charge is entry fee + $10.00 at next entry, unless released with a doctors
release.
- Dress Code fines are $15.00 for first violation $25.00 for second violation, third
violation will result in a no score at that performance.
- Late call-in charge will be $10.00.
- All fines will be added to following events entry fee.
Call-Ins
- Call ins will be the Monday prior to the event from 6:00 PM to
10:00 PM for all events. 573-793-3118
2. Call outs and late call ins will be Wed. prior to the event from 7:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.
3. Checks will be accepted for entry with proper ID.
4. There will be a $25.00 charge for any returned check and you will not be allowed to
enter another event until this is paid.












General Bull Riding Rules
1. There will be equipment checks at each event.
A. Sharp spur rowels will be filed prior to competing.
B. No freaks allowed.
C. No hook, rings or post allowed.
D. Cutting a bull will result in a $25.00 fine if
determined to have been caused by sharp
rowels
2. All riders will be required to wear protective vest.
A. All riders 15 and under will be required to wear a
helmet.
B. A riders are required to provide their own
equipment.
3. All riders are required to ride with one hand, with or
with-out a wrap.
A. No knots or hitches are allowed to prevent the rope
from coming off the bull.
B. The bell must be under the belly of the bull.
C. Hooking knots in the chute will result in a no-score.
D. Placing any part of your chaps or spurs under your
rope during your pull will result in a no-score.
E. No soaking the bulls will be allowed, If caught doing
this the rider will receive a no-score.
4. All horned bulls will be tipped at the end to the size
of a quarter or larger.
5. Time starts when any part of the bulls crosses the
plane of the gate with the exception of their horns.
6. Each rider will be allowed one puller behind the
chutes.
7. It will be the judges discretion as to the amount of
time the rider takes to get out on a bull. If the rider
takes to long they will receive a no-score or will have
the gate opened.
A. If the rider makes two honest attempts and still
cannot get out their bull they will be offered a re-ride.
Finals
1. All finals contestants will be a member in good
standing with the CYBR.
2. All finals contestants will have competed in at least
Half of the scheduled events.
3. All finals contestants will have NO outstanding fines
un-paid.
4. CYBR finals will be have two long go performances
and one short go.
5. Place and Date of Finals to be announced later.
6. There will be a $50.00 sponsorship fee per
contestant for the finals.
7. Year end awards will be tallied at the end of regular
season and the Finals will be a stand alone event.
Membership Dues
1. Memberships dues will be $50.00 per year.

Mutton Busting
- Age 6 and under
- Mutton busters will ride with one hand.
- Mutton busters will ride a full 6 seconds
- Failure to ride 6 seconds will receive a
no-score
- Touching the sheep with the free hand
during the 6 second ride will receive no
score.
4. No contestants will be tied on the sheep.
- No contestant will be held on the
sheep by another person.
- Only ropes similar to bull riding ropes
will be allowed.
5. Scoring will be done the same as the bull
riding events.
6. Re-Rides will be at the judges discretion.
CALF RIDING
- Age 8 and under
- Calf riders will ride with one hand.
- Calf riders will ride a full 8 seconds.
- Failure to ride 8 seconds will receive a
no score.
- Touching the calf with the free hand
during the 8 second ride will receive a
no-score.
- No 2 handed rides will be allowed.
4. No contestants will be held on by another
person.
5. Only ropes similar to bull ropes will be
allowed.
- All ropes must have bells attached.
6. Re-rides will be at judges discretion.
Pee Wee Bull Riding
- Age 12 and under
- Rider must ride with one hand.
- Riders will ride a full 8 seconds.
- Failure to ride 8 seconds will receive a
no-score.
- Touching the animal with the free hand
during the 8 second ride will receive a
no-score.
4. Only bull riding ropes will be used.
- Bells must be attached to the rope
during the ride.
- No hooks, rings or post will be used on
bull ropes.
5. Re-rides will be at the judges discretion.
Jr. Bull Riding
- Age 15 and under
- Rider must ride with one hand.
- Rider will ride a full 8 seconds.
- Failure to ride 8 seconds will receive a
no-score.
- Touching the animal with the free hand
during the 8 second ride will receive a
no-score.
4. Only bull riding ropes will be used.
- Bells must be attached to the rope
during the ride.
- No hooks, rings or post will be used on
bull ropes.
5. Re-rides will be at Judges discretion.






Sr. Bull Riding
- Age 19 and under.
- Rider must ride with one hand.
- Rider will ride a full 8 seconds.
- Failure to ride 8 seconds will receive a
no-score.
- Touching the animal with the free hand
during the 8 second ride will receive a no-
score.
4. Only bull riding ropes will be used.
- . Bells must be attached to bull rope.
- No hooks, rings or post will be allowed on
bull ropes.
5. Re-rides will be at judges discretion.
